Temporarily disable security programs

In rare cases, antivirus, antispyware, and firewall programs can block scripts or features that are essential to some Yahoo pages. If you're having trouble using interactive features with our products, temporarily disable your security programs to see if they're causing the issue.

  1. Visit the software's help pages for instructions on how to disable your security programs.
  2. Once disabled, check to see if you're still having a problem with the page or feature. If the problem no longer occurs, the disabled security software was the cause of the problem.
  3. Re-enable your antivirus, antispyware, and firewall programs.

Once you've found the program that's causing the problem, check your software's help pages and configure it's settings to avoid a conflict with the Yahoo in the future.
