Customize chart settings in Yahoo Finance for Android

Select chart settings that suit your needs. Choose whether to show important events and extended hours trading, or change background and scale settings.

Edit chart display settings

1. Look up a quote.
2. Tap the symbol chart.
3. Below the chart, tap the Settings icon .
4. Tap the Toggle button to enable the following settings:
   • Events - Indicate significant events, such as dividends or splits.
   • Extended hours - Include premarket and after hours transaction data.
   • Gray background strips - Enhance time display using shading on the chart.

Change chart scale settings

1. Look up a quote.
2. Tap the symbol chart.
3. Below the chart, tap the Settings icon .
4. Under "Y-axis scale," select one of the following options:
   • Linear - An absolute change scale (for example: 1 space = 1 dollar)
   • Log - A percentage change scale (for example: 1 space = 1 percent)
   • Percent - A percentage change scale based on the moving average for the chart's time scale
