Change the time period and scale on full screen charts in Yahoo Finance for Web

Use full screen symbol charts to know the right time to buy, hold, or sell your stock. Yahoo Finance charts provide data from 1 day to as far back as a stock has been traded or data is available. Select greater date ranges to analyze long-term trends or select smaller time intervals to spot the signals to buy and sell. Zoom in or out on a chart to see price fluctuations over a narrow or wide span of time.

Change chart date range

On a mobile web browser

  1. Sign in to Yahoo Finance.
  2. Look up a quote.
  3. Tap Advanced Chart icon Image of the full chart..
  4. Below the chart, tap the Date Range Image of the calendar icon. menu.
  5. Select the time range you'd like to view.
  6. Tap Apply.

On a desktop web browser

  1. Sign in to Yahoo Finance.
  2. Look up a quote.
  3. Click Advanced Chart Image of the full chart..
  4. Below the chart, click a standard time range (1D, 5D, 1M, etc.) or click the Date Range Image of the calendar icon. menu to select a custom date range.

  4. Below the chart, tap the Time Interval Calendar options icon menu.
  5. Select an interval.
  6. Tap Done.

  4. Below the chart, click the Interval Calendar options icon menu.
  5. Select an interval.

  4. Pinch or spread with 2 fingers to change the scale.

On a desktop web browser

  1. Sign in to Yahoo Finance.
  2. Look up a quote.
  3. Click Advanced Chart Image of the full chart..
  4. Hover over the chart with your mouse and scroll up or down to change the scale.
